went to swim again :)) but not before accompanying my brother to SP's open house... i'm quite impressed with some of the stuff the students (who are around my age!) do for projects... really cool stuff, like: designing and actually creating art products like paper stuff, models and ornaments; creating a computerised 3D model design of buildings and landscapes (some projects are even transformed into solid tangible models!); an iPod add-on, whose sales(of the add-on) will go to benefitting the boxing day tsunami victims (and the design of the add-on is pretty nifty as well) etc. i'm not as impressed by the engineering students' work in general, but i don't think it can be helped, as the technology we use today is so much more advanced than what they learn in poly, so the standard of their projects are in no way comparable to things on the market... i guess i should give them more credit heh...
anw i did this career guidance thingy (some software that helps you narrow down your career choices) and guess what, my preferred career choices don't match my true preferences and skills at all! great. if you all are wondering, my 3 oices were artiste, science teacher and architect or interior designer or something like that... i shan't trust the accuracy of this test, though, for reasons i oso dunno how to explain haha...
ok less of this career guidance thingy, poly food is cheap and not bad! i think it's a bit cheaper than hawker centres (if i'm not wrong) and there's some variety, too! i rmb trying ngee ann poly food once, today it's sing poly...
mmm then wad did i do arh? oh ya then it was the swim, albeit under threatening weather... the weather's making fun of me ok? when i was still at SP at 1pm the weather was quite sunny (although cloudy too), then when i was swimming at 4pm the weather was just horrible... blah! at least i'm exercising la (let's not bother about to what extent i'm actually exercising fruitfully heh!), the tan can come a bit later...
can't believe i beat you haha! you're way taller than me leh! XD anyway we're both noobs now la, except you used to be quite good and i was never good at it! (i wonder if you read my blog)
for once in a long time i was happy in the rain! maybe it's the endorphines released after the swim, i dunno? or maybe it's the slightly brighter rainy sky and the absolutely strong wind that attempted valiantly to break the spokes of my cheapo $10 Hang Ten retractable umbrella (can't believe they raised its price!)
anyway, the biggest things that happened/are happening at home are at the computer heh... i'm backing up all my dunno how large-files onto DVDs, to avoid the tinge of regret i felt when all my stuff were unretrievable when the old computer broke down and i didn't backup those files then (yea, my current computer is in the last stages of its 'life', it gets the omnious blue screen at least 3 times when i try to boot it up)
i'm going away for 2 years! should i give 'it' up? maybe... but i dunno what to do la, no news isn't good news at all you know... please say 'hi' to me or do stuff with me before i lose my NRIC heh... i don't think i can face... reje-
no worries i'm not in any emo mood, although the prev paragraph may seem to be so.
