as of today i have EXACTLY one month left to ord!
it's an almost-strange feeling, to ord so soon, because i've been in camps for one year and nine months already it's going to take some adjustments, i think, to wean myself out of army camps.
that's a horrible thing to say! when there's so many people begging for a dismissal of their services.
i like familiarity. i need to know that what i'm doing will be alright. any sort of reassurance, like comments or results, bolster my confidence to brave changes.
which i haven't been feeling for the past couple of months... sigh.

i thought this week would be a week well spent. i used 5 days of leave/off just to enjoy what i always thought i should be doing: jogging/swimming, reading, e-learning, making music, controlled eating etc. but my itinerary got hijacked with my fever since thursday afternoon - and it's still ongoing.
it's so bad, my temperature hit 39.3 degrees (measured), and it was probably even higher when i tried to rest in bed. trying to cover yourself in a blanket in an effort to sweat (the chinese way of removing heat) doesn't work if you don't sweat, as i learnt the hard way this time. i daresay my temperature hit 40 degrees during my sleep! my insides were like stoked charcoal, and my feet and hands were really cold...
luckily my parents, and a visiting aunt, are around to help me. oh my grandmother's in town for the time being. i hope she'll enjoy her stay here.
...the fever really wasted my holiday ):
