1st post

well, actually the title of this post is a bit of a misnomer... i'm not that new to blogging (i blog infrequently on my exclass blog haha!) but this is my VERY OWN blog woah!

why so late, then? perhaps many others are like me: "no time to blog during school term la so i start during the school holidays..." speaking of which, i have graduated from 12 (formal) + 3 (nursery, kindergarten) years of education. that's (strangely?) a scary thing - you people who haven't graduated (or aren't close to it!) consider yourself lucky! you got your life planned nicely for you - me have to decide on my future and all that. it sucks, really, especially when you haven't enough conviction to pursue your dreams, or don't even know what to do...

still, i consider myself real lucky... eh if you got enough money to own a computer and blog you're well off enough ok? :) anyways, i got a bit of future planned out (at least until NS - mandatory conscription, for the uninitiated):

1. m'sia trip to attend cousin's wedding
2. shopping spree for prom
3. prom
4. zoukout

and things to do, too :D

1. learn how to draw (i even bought graphite sticks and kneadable putty ok...)
2. play richard clayderman songs and other pop piano songs so that when people ask me "woah you already got Dip in piano why don't you play a song for us to hear?" i got something to play so that they can go "woah you're fantastic!" instead of "er why don't you learn richard clayderman's songs? you know, like (sings pour de adeline out of tune)???" <-- that has happened before.
3. learn improvisation on the piano
4. exercise. i haven't been doing so since i passed NAPFA (physical test) and i tell you, how i regret it. not just the physique, but if i sit down for too long my thighs hurt :| real bad, huh?
5. compose or arrange contemporary music

ok a bit too long, now now. more to come soon!
